Production Migration and Multi-Account DR for an Online Casino
Online casinoChallenge. Migrate a running online casino platform from a non-AWS hosting provider to AWS and introduce separate staging and disaster recovery environments without losing operational control over the platform.Delivery. IT-Magic built a multi-account AWS foundation using Control Tower and Terraform, deployed production workloads on Amazon EKS, and implemented CI/CD for around 20 services. The architecture included managed PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka and S3. The team planned the production cutover, performed load tests and configured observability and security controls. A separate recovery account used database replication at approximately two-hour intervals, continuous Kafka replication and S3 replication, with a warm EKS environment and documented recovery procedures.Outcome. Production migrated to the new AWS environment with repeatable deployments and dedicated staging and recovery environments. The database recovery environment was designed around a two-hour RPO. AWS Landing Zone and GitOps for a Real-Time Betting Platform
Real-time bettingChallenge. Establish secure, isolated infrastructure for a real-time betting platform with background workers, event-driven processing and transaction signing.Delivery. IT-Magic created staging and production AWS accounts under Control Tower. Core staging infrastructure was provisioned in two days. The team implemented private EKS access, Terraform, containerisation, GitHub Actions, Helm and Argo CD. Application and processing components use RDS MySQL, DynamoDB, Redis-compatible caching and SQS. Autoscaling uses HPA and Karpenter. AWS KMS supports blockchain transaction signing.Outcome. Separate staging and production AWS environments with repeatable GitOps deployments. AWS Production Launch and Load Testing for a Live Sports Platform
Live sportsChallenge. Launch and operate a sports scores/content platform featuring bookmaker-related sections and data-processing workloads with variable traffic.Delivery. IT-Magic built AWS infrastructure through Terraform, deployed five services with Docker, Helm and GitLab CI, and introduced Aurora PostgreSQL with RDS Proxy, SQS and Kubernetes autoscaling. Workers scale in response to queue depth. The team conducted JMeter load tests configured from 500 to 10,000 threads in 30-minute runs, then adjusted the platform configuration based on findings.Outcome. AWS production launch with repeatable deployment pipelines, monitoring and queue-aware scaling.
