Monitoring for flawless operation

Monitoring, when configured correctly, is the foundation of the operability of Internet projects. Many do not understand this pattern, and can not achieve the smooth operation of the system, inevitably encountering errors and faults in the functioning of their internet resources.

Failure alarm

The first and obvious function of monitoring is sending an alert in the event of a breakdown. Monitoring immediately signals system failures and this allows system administrators to solve problems quickly.

In addition to signaling major breakdowns, monitoring helps to identify errors that at first glance are not visible, for example, system failures that happen at night, while making backups, when user flow increases, and other errors that would not have been noticed and fixed without monitoring.

Every failure and slowdown brings losses to the owners of the Internet resource. Therefore, it is important to fix problems in time, but more importantly, to prevent their occurrence. We set up the monitoring of the internet resources of our customers so we can prevent emergencies.

The most important – professional monitoring

The second monitoring function, no less important, is to show emerging problems. We see, thanks to properly configured monitoring, what can happen, and we have time to resolve the issue before the accident occurs. Such monitoring should be set up professionally, but the result of its work can hardly be overestimated.

Monitoring tells us about various parameters, for example, the amount of free disk space, CPU load, memory status, number of running processes, server temperature, and much more. If a dangerous situation arises, we learn about it early enough to be able to find the cause and eliminate it. Our main work is invisible to anyone but us, but it creates the result that our customers appreciate – the smooth operation of their websites and systems.

Business-Oriented Monitoring

We differ from most of our competitors because our goal is to increase the profits of our customers. Based on this goal, not just technical issues, we choose our solutions. Therefore, we use not only technical monitoring but also add business-oriented monitoring.

Technical monitoring watches the work of servers, but business-oriented monitoring tracks business parameters, for example, the number of sales, site visits, profit. Together with the client’s developers, we set up both types of monitoring; this way we can see the errors that are not noticeable when using only technical parameters. With the help of business-oriented monitoring, we may notice, for example, the mistakes that appeared on the website after updates, various errors and failures not directly related to the operation of servers and the system as a whole.

When we accept a new project, we immediately set up monitoring. We know how to properly set up technical and business-oriented monitoring, and therefore, when a client transfers the administration of their servers to us, the number of errors that occur in their system greatly decreases. Our goal is to maintain the smooth operation of services and increase the profit of our customers.

If you have any questions regarding the operation of your Internet resource, write to us, we will audit your system free of charge, indicate the problems and offer solutions.
